the idea: write a post about a drawing but get distracted and play with photo inversions instead

I’ve been submerged in completely redesigning my thesis.  The core remains the same but Don’t Make Art, Just Make Something is being reworked, constantly questioned, and put through just about every mental exercise I can think of.

As part of my plan to keep myself invested I have been starting to sketch out ideas for some of the pages in the book that will have drawings.  One of the pages is about inertia and inhibition, two pivotal obstacles everyone faces when they try to start something.

Originally this blog post was supposed to be about inertia and inhibition with selections from the section that I wrote.  However, as I was uploading the photo of my sketch I got distracted by the random editing techniques on my phone and ended up with an inverse black and white drawing.  I was going to use that as the picture for the inertia and inhibition idea but then I realized that inverting the picture was an idea in and of itself!
