I’ve come across a problem while writing this blog. Although I love ideas, love coming up with them and sharing them, there’s a missing piece. I also love sharing other people’s ideas. And so The Idea Blog is going to go through a metamorphosis in order to become… the Idea Project.
Originally I wanted to do Idea Interviews. In fact, I’ve already done one great interview with my friend Emily. What I’ve realized is that in my current life interviewing people, transcribing the interviews, and then remembering to post and share them is too big a project. Instead, I’m going to send out a big email in order to gather ideas from a bunch of different people.
It takes very little to inspire an idea. Sometimes all you need is for someone to ask you for one. So whether I get a premeditated idea, an in progress idea, or an on the fly idea, I’ll read it, respond to it and post it. Because what could be better for inspiring new ideas than hearing ideas from other people?
