the idea: add hot chocolate to a homemade chai steamer
I’m out of honey.
As a tea-drinker in the winter, this is a dangerous thing.
Tonight while I was making a chai steamer (by which this culinary artist means meaning milk in a pan with a chai tea bag), I decided not to add any sugar to replace the honey. However, when I had my first sip it wasn’t enough.
As a New Englander I, of course, have hot chocolate mix. Actually, I have some very fancy Godiva hot chocolate mix left by a former roommate. “What the hell,” I thought, spooning hot coco into my chai steamer.
I should have been thinking, “INGENIUS!” because that’s what it is. Now I just need to patent it and sell it to Starbucks.
