the idea: have a printing press running at the launch for Don’t Make Art, Just Make Something
A lot of ideas went into the launch party last Sunday, one of them was to have a printing press running where people could print something. This idea was a collaboration between Eli and Lindsay from Union Press and myself. Eli designed the print and Lindsay manned the press during the event.
Each print was $5 to pull and to keep. The image was a simplified version of the front cover of the book and said “Don’t Make Art, Just Make Something.”
Now that the event is over, I have around 90 more prints that I will be selling at craft fairs throughout the summer. Just goes to shows that good ideas keep on living!
