Idea No. 212: Vivaldi meets the Electric Guitar

I recently decided that there are two types of singer-songwriters: those who love to sing so they learn guitar, and those who love to play guitar so they learn to sing.  I have no idea if the girl in this video, Tina, knows how to sing, but she obviously damn well loves to play the guitar.  Not only is she doing an incredible job on the electric guitar at 14, if you scroll down you’ll see an earlier video of her playing classical guitar at 9.  If only.

You can say whatever you want about parents forcing kids to practice too much, but to me it looks like this girl loves her instrument.  Just look at how she’s grown into it and made it her own.  I mean, Vivaldi on the electric guitar?  Seriously?  That’s not something you’re forced to do.
