Idea No. 232: Painted Boots

the idea: find a pair of Goodwill boots and revamp them with acrylic paint

the ideator: Miranda Aisling

I painted my first pair of boots in my first year of college and wore them every chance I got.  Because of that, they got a little worn down.  However from the boots sprouted a painted jacket, multiple purses, a backpack, and even a guitar case (or two).

Though a few people have told me to, I have never attempted to sell these objects.  Until now!

I have a few purses going as well as two pairs of boots, the first of which were sold to the absolutely lovely lady pictured below.  (Sporting the boots and a matching painted purse while standing next to the guitar case, if you couldn’t tell).  So, apparently, this works!

I’ll be painting more, hunting Goodwill more, and hopefully getting more art out onto the street in the next few weeks.  Keep your eyes open, and let me know if there’s anything you want painted!
