In Aisling’s most recent 2D series, she uses thread and reclaimed fabric to interpret her abstract oil paintings into fiber. These intimate pieces are highly detailed, hand sewn over many weeks in front of the woodstove. The frames are hand-built by Aisling out of reclaimed wood from Gloucester, MA.
